Meghan and Kimchi

So I have been thinking about doing a blog post every once in a while where I talk about an awesome Yummchi fan. I want to do this as a way to talk more about kimchi since others enjoy kimchi so much differently than I do. This is also my way of telling my people THANK YOU for being supportive.

So let’s talk about Meghan.

Meghan is a friend and previous coworker. When I was in the baby beginning stages and texting people asking if they wanted to buy kimchi, Meghan jumped right up to try it out. She had never tried it before! I could hardly believe it. Since then, Meghan has been one of my most loyal and consistent customers. How cool is that? She had never ever tried kimchi and now she loves it. It is music to my ears people. Something I love about her is her creativity with her kimchi. She throws together something and it ends up looking beautiful. I have a few of her pictures in the image gallery if you want to check it out!

Meghan took a minute to answer some questions. Here are her responses!

Q: When did you try kimchi for the first time and what did you think the first time you tried it?

A: I tried it about a month ago. I thought it had a strong flavor, a bit more spicy  than I am used to. I didn’t think it would be something I would continually like. But after the second dish I was hooked

Q: What was it that converted you to kimchi?

A: I love the difference of flavor, I can put it with bland chicken or rice and it makes it a whole new dish.

Q: What is your favorite way to eat kimchi?

A: Stir fry with chicken, rice and egg.

Q: What do you have to say to the new kimchi eater?

A: Try it at least 2 before you knock it. The first time it might not be your favorite but the second time it will be your favorite dish!
